For over forty years, the Donald Brown Group has existed at the forefront of the South African salt industry. The Salt journey began in the small town of Brandvlei, where an underground saline water source yielded a rich supply of this natural resource.

Brief:
Contracted by Saltcor and the Donald Brown Group, I was tasked to compile a hardcover history of the Salt Story. From history to current corporate and cultural status, the client wished to visually document the strides the Brown family have made from their early days and inception in the town of Brandvlei, to their current, prestigious and rich footprint across the national landscape – showcasing not only product, but also the humble story of hard work and family values. I conceptualized and drove the entire project, delivering a fine table-top print documentary
